Greetings fellow button mashing ass kicking fighter fans :)

I just thought I'd start a thread and see what you people are in to. What is your favorite fighting game? What are you currently playing? Do you prefer 2D or 3D fighters? Who is your favorite character?

My Favorite Fighting game:
Marvel VS Capcom for the Arcade/MAME

I am currently playing:
Street Fighter 3 Alpha - Arcade/MAME

Although 3D games such as Soul Calibur and Super Smash Brothers/Melee are extremely fun, I'll always be a 2D fighter fan.

My all time favorite character for a fighting game would have to be the origonal Scorpion for Mortak Kombat.

My Favorite Character is Terry Bogard from Garou: Mark of the Wolves Through Fatal Fury, and into King of Fighters 2003:D

I am currently playing:
Right now, Im doin some Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and Soul Caliber 2.

2D all the way. I remember the magic I felt when I did my first Dragon Fireball.

My all time favorite character for a fighting game? Geez, thats like asking me which of all my siblings I want to be spared in a massacre. But with all due respect, I would have to say Blanka.

My Fav game is Final Fantasy VIII . Hey. its RPG and fantasy. but it is based on fighting. w/ magic.. lol. anyways, my favorite fighter and game character of all is Squall from FFVIII. Hes kick ass. He is almost my role model. .. i know thats lame but play the game before you dis it.

SFA3 has one of the best One Player experiences out there, and even still compares VF4, just differently

oh, and i frogot the Tekken games, mostly Tekken Tag and Tekken 3

well I play the occasional Street Fighter games. Whenever possible, I take Chun Li. Legs of steel own me.

I'd play the King of Fighters series on Neo Geo quite often. My faves were Terry Bogard and Vanessa. Especially Vanessa. Boxer chick with attitude. :x

I used to dabble in Waku Waku 7 for Neo Geo as well as Samurai Showdown and some of the Fatal Fury games.

The Marvel vs. Capcom, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, etc... games didn't interest me that much. I played those rarely.

Back in the old days, I used to be pretty good at Killer Instinct and its horrid sequel. I was decent at the Mortal Kombat games. Every now and again, I'd play Soul Edge, Virtua Fighter, DOA and Tekken, as well.

I like Both 3D and 2D. But prefer 2D.....

You should play it more Often. Its pretty dam good. The game rarely leaves the Dreamcast. The only times it leaves is when i'm goin to play Garou;).....

Yeah, Fatal Fury: Mark Of the Wolves for Dreamcast. IMO the best SNK/Playmore fighting game. I like it that much:o. Its good stuff.....

Oh yeah, Terry's clothes is hot in Garou. Hes my second favorite and best character in the game.....

Grant am teh sux:( Terry looks like that in Kof2003 again.
I'm not impressed with that game though.. Blue Mary and Andy Bogard are not in it, my team has ALWAYS been Terry, Andy, and Mary.

I like Mary because she's slow but really effective, most of her attacks do quite a bit of damage.
And Andy is pretty fast and does mid to high damage.
