It's basically a mech game. You own this giant mech and you do missions and arena stuff to earn money to buy parts. There is a very high degree of customization possible in the game and thats what it's primary appeal is. I can tell you the full back story to it if you want.

It's not a very popular game, however, and it's not very widely known. If you want to try to get into now, you'd probably have a tough time finding it since most stores won't carry more than a few copies of it, if at all; and the people who do play it are open fanatics about it and very rarely if ever give up any copies of the games they own.

Yeah, i've played this game ever since the first one on PS. But ever since the series hit PS2, which i don't own. I've been in the dark:o . Great series though, i love to build my own AC...
