I think it looks fine.....it may be difficult to "care" about the characters though. I dont know how many humans are actually in the movie. If its just Alien fighting Predator all movie, theres nothing to capture emotion.

Or am I talking bollox as usual? :o

It's not interesting at all nor intense... Maybe cuz I haven't seen the movie, say what you want about Freddy vs. Jason the movie, but the battle at the end is by far one of the greatest movie fights EVER. Because of the intensity, this is just two monsters beating the shit out of each other, the only good part was the alien being dragged around. Plus I hear there's no story so we won't feel for the character. Had the director for Freddy vs. Jason took time in casting teenage actors who had talen, it most likely would of been a movie that be long remembered. This looks like a steaming pile of crap :(

Alien movies have never turned big profits but they made money. Neither has the predator movies, I'm going assume the budget is over 100 million... Fox is being stupid:(

no matter on past successes, actually. My bad in the wording. What I meant is the titles themselves. The name and even the image of the Xenomorphes is well-known in Hollywood and tantamount to having an A-list star in your movie.

That was one of the crapiest fight scenes I've ever seen. I hope the rest of the movie isn't that bad. Im still going to see it on Friday though.

could have been worse, I guess...the Pred could have been doing wire fu....

On the AICN talkbacks, someone compared part of that AvP clip to the final fight scene in Blade 2 between Nomak and Blade (the part where the Pred was bashing the Alien around the walls). Thinking about that comment, I think the Pred`s fighting should resemble the kind Blade and Nomak displayed in that fight scene. Again, better than wire fu or traditional martial arts. Thankfully, they didn`t go THAT way.

You`d think the Alien would have been more ferocious. The one in that clip was such a (excuse the use of this term) pussy.
