Tom Welling is likely the new Superman

Anyway, he makes a swell 'teen' Clark on Smallville but I dunno about actual Superman stuff. Then again, when I saw pics of the guy who was going to play "young Superman" in an upcoming show called "Smallville" a few years ago, I didn't think he'd make much of a Clark.

At one point, people wanted Dean Cain to be Superman in a new Superman movie, mostly because that generation associated him with Superman (from the 'Lois & Clark' series). No doubt, this is the same thing that's happening, plus there's the added fad of comic movies now.
