I got no camera, but I DO got Paint... :o

Still in progress...the base is a Scunchi hairbrush, the amber screen is from a pill bottle, the yellow rectange is a fuse. This much I have done.

The white red and green dots will be colored LEDs from radio shack, the brass 'on button' a doohickey I found in my grandpa's old shop, and the antennas will probably be small replacement antennas from radio shack...as soon as I figure out the best way to mount them.

It won't DO anything (except the antennas will move, by hand), but I hope it will turn out a pretty cool (and CHEAP) addition to my small assortment of movie related stuff!

(BTW....does anyone know what happend to the Dewback Wing: A Site About Props???)

EDIT: Ah...looks like ezboard is down till 3ish Eastern for work...

PKE?

Is that the scanner thingamajig from Ghostbusters? Though it's Paint, it still looks good. Like something out of Southpark. :p Can't wait to see the end result (provided you manage to take a pic of it)

Not really sure this is Junkyard material. Hmm...perhaps Art Museum or General Pub....

Yup, the PKE meter Egon uses all the time in Ghostbusters!

I considrered AM or GP, couldn't decide, and figured I'd put it here to be safe...

Heh...now you've got me imagining a South Park Ghostbusters spoof! :D

the very fact I figured that was the scanner from Ghostbusters BEFORE I even read the post is a compliment to you, Pun. Good job so far. Again, show us the end result.

Thankyew!

My plans never work as planned...which isn't neccisarily a BAD thing. Radio Shack only had one antenna that I need, so until Thursday when the next one arrives, I started working on another out-there GB prop idea.

1 large plastic storage tote
+
1 plastic food bowl
2" wooden dowl
lid of another food bowl
2 4oz. medicine bottles
some leather shoestring
a $3 nylon backpack
a long retangular plastic storage bin
several cutting implements
gratuitous superglue and black spray paint
=

Probably the world's first 'polymer frame proton pack!':p

w00t! Finished! I fit with the second antenna for hours before I got it loosened up enough for my purposes, though!

I'll try to get some pics up eventually....I'm still waiting on patches to finish my costume for my 'franchise' site: http://www.geocities.com/nightwing1982us/ghostbusters-wnc.html
