Does this ever happen to you:


eSJayBee: he posted a drawing and everyone was raving about for the past few weeks. a fellow poster was suspicious and he did some investigating. informed Excelsior and the admin took down the artwork but in a very professional and respectful manner.

eSJayBee: he said that he'd discovered one or two of the drawings are plagerism. but he made it look like the thief's artwork stopped showing and said that the artwork had to be showing for it to qualify in the contest. Excelsior did all this without letting ppl know. very nice admin.

someone else: oic



Type some huge (sometimes series of) messages and only get something like oic, heh, okay (or one of its derivatives), hmm or ah as a replies that make it sound like they're not really listening to you?

If I'm not listening, then you will get no response out of me.

If I reply with a "oh", "k", "ha", or "yea" it means I read it, I just really have no opinion or stance on the matter discussed.

I know someone who does that a lot. :rolleyes:

I agree with DragonFire, though. If I respond then I read it, just might not have much to say about it, but I am still listening.

I tend to use "k" etc quite alot. But its not as Im not listening, its just that Im busy and its quicker to type that!

I hate it when they just type "lol". I usually use 'Hhhmmm.........' :D........

That took care of it for a while, even tho only one person I showed it to [out of ten] got the reference.
