I'd forgotten how much this franchise OWNS. With the Hype over the 88mph-produced comic though, I've slowly come to re-realize it's brilliance!
Of late, I've been burning the creative oil and trying to do a GB fanfic with moi in it...I'll let you know how that turns out.
On one hand I feel like a geek. On the other hand...who HASN'T wanted to be a Ghostbuster?! :p

yes. just say `Ghostbuster`, and Bryan follows...
What do you all think about a del Toro directed GB movie?

Id love a Ghostbusters 3. All the actors would probably be up for it!
But I wouldnt want them to try and remake the franchise. Keep the same actors and carry the story on from the last one! :)

What do you all think about a del Toro directed GB movie? Yea, I remember you saying that he would be a good director for Ghostbusters, I'd have to agree with you:D

I think if they tried to do an Extreme Ghostbusters type of deal, just written better.:p

well the old cast is gold. But if they WERE to make a new GB movie, I think they'd be best to try, not just a new cast, but new characters. But keep all the old Ghostbusters as veterans. Supervisors, maybe.

I agree, But Have you seen what "Egon" looks like? He's Huge, like 300lbs huge:|   ;)
But I always wanted one of those proton packs to blast the crap out of some kids at school in the old days.
Yes I know there not toys!:(

I don't think the proton packs harm living tissue....if that's what you're getting at.
Captain Bryan

It would burn, wouldn't it?
I mean, it set toilet paper and a judges podium on fire..
Maybe it doesn't hurt living tissue, but I'd be surprised of that's the case:s

I remember in the old cartoon where they demonstrated that it doesn't have any effect on organic substance such as flesh. But on lifeless objects like a shirt sleeve or toilet paper.......

I read in one of the uber-technical sites that the proton beams are harmless to humans on LOW settings.
Hence: "Venkman shorten your stream! I don't want my face burned off!!!" :D
Anyone got the 88mph comic yet?!?!? More GB greatness!!! :D

Better run to the local store post haste then! The first run was sold out in 2 days, but I found one in my local about a week after it came out. 88mph will probably do a second run.
Here's the cover to issue 4 - Egon is my fave!

In my old band, we did a thing where we dressed up as heros. I had Spider-Man [go fig] and my Drummer was a GB. It was awesome.
