Of all the direct to video projects out there, this is the one to fear most (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0962728/).

I got to hand it to Rick Sloane, he doesn't let a bad rep get him down. And he has good humor about it too (too bad he can't put "good" humor in his movies). He even sent the original Hobgoblins to MST3K personally. I wonder if he got in contact with Mike, Kevin, and Bill to do a commentary on this sequel. If so, then this is a must have.

One thing's for sure, there better be a rake fight!

Hobgoblins is one of the 5 worst movies ever featured on the show, along with other such "winners" as "Manos" The Hands of Fate, Monster A-Go-Go, the Starfighters, and Wild Wild World of Batwoman. I definatly wouldn't call it one for beginners. It's safer to build up an immunity with cheesier movies first.

But since you've suffered through Uwe Boll, Hobgoblins should be nothing new.

Better. Earlier episodes tend to be more sparse, but the cheese in the film is perfect.
