Like just a drawing or actually in the comic?

I'd be scared to see me. :(

11-13-2006, 11:07 AM
Why? :)
XChick03

You know why.

Yea. I could draw a random female and just say it's you. :p You and that dot on your forehead.
Drakon

Me too! Me too!
Oh, wait....
eSJayBee
11-13-2006, 11:20 AM
Hush, you.
Drakon

Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Oddly enough, as I type this, Pretty Woman [Van Halen] comes up on my playlist.

Nah it's okay. It's no secret that Dwak is based on you.
But if I were to redraw you, I'd find a way to make changes.
Drakon
11-13-2006, 11:32 AM
I'm curious. What are they? Or are they coming up in the comic?
eSJayBee
11-13-2006, 11:34 AM
No they're not coming up. At least I don't have any planned for the new few months.
Drakon
11-13-2006, 11:45 AM
Ah, okay.

Anyway, I'd certainly change the wardrobe to something else. I'd use a different colour scheme for the clothing. I might not even use shorts, though then the fake leg isn't visible. For the fake leg, I'd probably go for a more realistic form, while keeping the more exciting bright blue instead of the boring plastic caucasian ;) :p.
I'd definitely change the facial hair to just be a little goatee, a 5 o'clock shadow or a clean shave.
As for the head, I might either keep a permanent ponytail (as opposed to Dwak just keeping one for work) or maybe he could wear a bandanna, which I know you, Drakon, used to do.

I'm pretty sure I was that guy in the dinosaur costume in the Halloween strip.

Aww. You should keep the colour scheme. Orange isn't a colour you see often in terms of clothing. I like the leg, but ultimately, it's your call, obviously. But I'd go either way with the facial hair. At first, I didn't like the box goatee, but now it's kinda grown on me.
And I still wear a bandana. ;)

I would look scary as a comic person. :(

I was waiting for you to point that out since I first came up with that panel's layout a couple of weeks ago.

Not that Dwak is you. :)

And the obvious: you are already scary as a regular person. :p

That may be so, but since I just shaved my goatee/chops I would look young doing it! :smad:

I thought it was pretty obvious myself, and it didn't need pointing out.

Then I'm practically a senior citizen compared to you. :(
Drakon
11-15-2006, 02:53 AM
Don't say that. You're not much older than me. :(

Meh. I don't like it, though.
Shiv hasn't answered my question from post #2. He abandoned his own thread. :(

'Cause I already know like 3 out of 4 people in it?
Given more time I could think of a better reason

You don't know anyone in it. :smad:

Yup.
Are these characters in your strip based on real people?
At the moment of their creation, Bry, Saadji, Dwak and Jay were all based on real people. But since then, all four of them have wandered away from their influences. They are all their own characters now. Any other characters are entirely fictional.
This is Jay's influence (my best friend, Jas):

I don't think I'll be putting anyone I know into Q4 anymore. But hey, maybe I could draw you guys in the cartoony Q4 fashion.
