The new characters added to the game are not entirely surprising...except for the last one in the trailer...Solid Snake... :wtf:

I still dont know how Snake will work in a SSB game. He just seems so...out of place. Kind of amusing they finally put Wario in there though.

Best thing i've seen so far is Kirby boiling Mario in the pot :up:. That rocked.

I'm curious as to what Snake's moves and abilities will be in the game. And if they'll find a way to incorporate the box into them...

I like how detailed Mario and Link now look. But Pikachu and Kirby look...the same.

It's like...they show the old Mario and Link morph into he new ones and you're all "Cool! They look so detailed and rendered!" and then the old Kirby and Pkachu morph into the new ones and you're all "umm....what happened? :confused: "

When using those specific colours, it looks an awful lot like the Fantastic Four symbol from the movies. And yes, I know it's also in black and red in the main title:

From what the movie depicted, it looks like some kind of super power-up type deal. after mario grabbed it, he did like some kind of kamaehamaeha-esque move. but we have to wait to know for sure T.T

Been a lot of updates since this thread started.

The SMASH logo, is actually a powerup for you to do your Final Smash attack. Each character's is different. Mario has the Fireball, Samus overpowers her gun [which makes her armour fall off and voila! Zero Suit], and Kirby cooks you.

There's things called Assist Trophies, which, if you've played before, are a lot like Pokemon, in terms of functionality. Useful, but not playable.

The game also seems to have some sweet music, too.

So I finally got a chance to play this game and Mr. Game and Watch ruins my mind........

*puts brain in a bowl of bleach*

I have to say though, I really love the Shadow Moses stage.
