it makes me wonder sometimes
why on horrible nights like this
why is it you that comes to mind
why do i even let you live in my head
why do i constantly relive the things you did
its makes these nights even harder to deal with
knowing that i spend them thinking about you
trying to justify why i let this happen
trying to justify why i didnt know
when we all know what the truth is
it happened because i loved you
i didnt know because i didnt want to
but i guess you win again
one more horrible day
turning into a horrible night
ending with thoughts of you

Yes, it is your fault, but that's what's so good about it becuase I believe that poetry written without emotion is wasted time and energy.
