Alias's first banned member: Calypso?
Cal, I like ya and I appreciate your participation level for an such an incomplete and unopened site. I really do. But some of the other members and I are getting fed up with your random spamming. First off: there are times when a private message (PM) would suffice rather than make a post that has zero to do with the topic. You could start a single forum in Junkyard for all this as well. showing that picture of your girlfriend was okay the first time and more appropriate the second time when you posted it in the new Babe forum. But putting "<----- I wanna fuck her" or "<-----mah chick" in your posts that honestly have nothing to do with the stream of discussion whatsoever can just get plain annoying. I recall you doing this earlier with your art but thankfully, we both came to an understanding on that topic. I hope we can come to another understanding today and keep you. Consider this your first and only warning. Next time, you will be banned.

I am stepping down as my position as a member of "THE ALIAS". I have several reasons. :

1. I feel that this website, other than a forum that would be better to be called a chat room, has no point whatsoever.

2. I feel a control dominance, in contrast, my websites have a "democratic" type of system. I know that you have full rights to this, but so do I by not remaining a member.

3. This is taking too much of my time in return for absolutley nothing.

4. I wish to purchase my own domain and subscribe to the services of a quality hoster. [HTML will be involed :p ].

5. I wish to become a member of another art website not to be named.

Furthermore, I wish to say good luck to the growth of this website, and sweet artwork drakon :D. Maybe we may remain friends, and my yahoo id is cylpso_2004 . I will link to your website on my website, and you have the option to link to mine once mine is up.

Whoa, Cal. I think we are getting off on the wrong foot here.

1-Of course this is like a chat right now, we have less that 20 members. Not to mention the fact that the forums arent even open yet.

2-Granted, yes. They forked out the $$, time and effort for the site, so they should have more say. But they realize that if you ignore all suggesstions and requests, you wont have a very sucessful site.

3-You met new friends, you got your artwork out, you saw some good art (Thanks for the comment, BTW). If thats "getting nothing in return" Id like to see getting back what you put in.

4-Good Luck with your site. I hope it flurishes.

5-You can be a member to several websites. I currently am an active participant here, At the Hype (www.superherohype.com), and The Guyble (www.theguyble.com). Not to mention all the other places Im only half active at.

I still think you should reconsider, but if you really want to leave, I cant stop ya.

I've stated a number of times (including in the PM to you) that this site is not complete and certainly not open. The people who were invited here were to give feedback and help out. Though your 'chat room' comment is noted.

democracy? How many boards have you been a member of, exactly? V1pe, Bry and I have put in our time and money into this so, like Drakon said, we have more say in this.

dude. You're not getting it. HTML is involved in any site. But we DON'T allow HTML for the vBulletin posts. Thing about it: the page is basically HTML. And then you add a </table> in your post. That can mess up the entire page. Now do you get it?

Well Cal, if you feel you must leave, then do. You just have to remember that we haven't even officialy opend this site yet, and are under much preassure to get things done (especialy SJB). If you want to still hang it's ok with us as we don't realy have any beef with you as a person. Good luck and all, feel free to come back and contribute.
