View Full Version : EA Got you down? Fight back! Revive Mutant League!

Any gamer worth his rocks remembers the Mutant League Games. There were two of them--Football and Hockey. Both only for the Genesis. It even had its own Saturday Morning Cartoon Show for a while, starring Bones Justice and the Razor Kid.

Now that EA has exclusive rights to all NFL Titles, we are gonna need something new. Midway, owners of the awesome BLITZ/HITZ line, also owns ML. Way I see it, this is the perfect time for a comeback. Good graphics, some BLITZ-esque playing, new teams, new stadiums, and even the original game as an unlockable bonus, and I think we may have a winner. And to really drive it home, open sales should be $20 USD.

Well, am I an idiot? Or is this not a bad idea?

I remember the toon, but I don't think I ever played the game:(
Does sound like a good idea, though:D
I used to like EA, now they piss me off:(

I too remember the cartoon but not the game as much. Though I agree. Now would be a rocking time for a comeback what with games being more than before.

dont think ive seen either, but if they make it like the good old blitz's like the ones for N64, i think it would be pretty awsome


stupid new blitz with an actual running game.... so stupid blitz 2000 was the best!!!!

bumping old topic since pandas are bored.

What's funny is that Mutant League Football is playable in the EA Replay for the psp. (Not sure when it came out, but I somehow got a copy. (I think it was a prize in a stacker or lighthouse.)) I remember back in the days I would play this game like crazy. And now I can't play it at all. Even if it could save my life.

These days I can't even play any football games or baseball games. Only basketball. (Thank you NBA street.)
