Best 2004 Zombie Flick

2004 was a big year for zombie movies We got not one, not two, but three of them. And most shocking of all, all were in completley different genres. One was horror, one was action, and one was comedy. Which one did you enjoy the most? The choices are the stylish Dawn of the Dead remake, the entertaining Resident Evil: Apocalypse, or the hillarious Shaun of the Dead.

1GF's choice: I'm definatly going to have to say that the best (and third best movie of the year IMO after Spider-Man 2 and the Incredibles) would have to be Shaun of the Dead. Simply the best comedy since Rat Race.

I haven't seen Shaun of the Dead but I absolutely loved 'Dawn of the Dead'. I must have seen it three times in the first week. The director's cut DVD isn't so bad. It doesn't add much but it's not unwelcomed changes. Though the DC for Dawn has a more complete explanation on how the good guys get into the mall in the beginning.

Resident Evil 2 just wasn't that great near the end but I still wouldn't give it a total thumb's down.

I should try to see Shaun one of these days.

Anyway, Dawn of the Dead gets me vote.

Yeah, Shaun wins. Hands down. Though Milla is hotter than any other woman in any of the other movies.
