I went on a DVD rampage ever since I bought a DVD burner two weeks ago....Well it's a rampage, imo.

So the deal is this: one day, I went out to get a haircut and a jar of mayonnaise (because mayonnaise makes everything taste good). What happened? I ended up buying a friggin' huge jar of mayo and a 2-liter bottle of Pepsi. Then I thought "Maybe I'll take a trip to the electronics store". So I stroll over there and next thing you know, I end up buying a DVD burner, 10 blank DVDs, a microphone (which I later returned) and three DVDs (Hellboy, Blade 2 and Chronicles of Riddick). :|

Now fast-forward two weeks (yesterday). I went to my college to meet with the disabilities councillor for the services I would be requiring for classes. After I was done, I went to McDonald's to fill up my empty stomach. I sat in front of the window, facing the same electronics store. So I decided to go there...I bought seven DVDs (Blade, Dawn of the Dead remake, Daredevil: Director's Cut, Hulk, Armageddon, Rundown, The Fast and The Furious). I get home with my loot and then my friend calls. He says he wants to hang so I'm like "cool". We go out and pass by HMV (music/movie store). What do I do? I end up buying Tomb Raider and the Robocop Trilogy box set (now I am ultra, mega, super-friggin' cool because Robocop rocks). 11 DVDs that day.$~250. Oh...and because I felt her staring at me the entire time in the store, I bought this:

Mesmerising eyes. Her voice is sad. I like that. :(

So in two weeks: Blade
Blade 2
Hellboy
Dawn of the Dead (remake)
Daredevil (Director's Cut)
The Fast and The Furious
Tomb Raider
Armageddon
Rundown
Chronicles of Riddick
Hulk
Robocop 1
Robocop 2
Robocop 3

Meh...my friends think I'm insane. And now I am afraid of leaving my house. :(

I forgot how pretty she was:)
Good choices on the Dvd's btw.

That's another thing: my friends hate most of the stuff I bought.

And that's just a cover, of course. Too exposed and obviously, they're made to look good. Better than they do in real life. But yea, Amy Lee is attractive enough.

Ha, mayonnaise. A man after my own taste buds:) .

That's not bad at all. I've probably spent about the amount you did on 15 dvds in 2 video games (very rare, out of circulation, but you get the idea.)

As for your Evanescense pick-up: I love Amy Lee's voice. It's puts me into a trance. She is very attractive too:) .

15 DVDs? In one shot? I salute you, sir.

No, that's not what I meant.

I said I probably spent as much as you did over the past 2 weeks in one shot buying two rare video games. Looking back on it, it probably wasn't a good idea, but it was the first time i've ever really let indulgence get the better of logical reasoning, so meh.

I wish I could afford to buy 15 dvds in one shot.

Err... 13 dvds rather, I miscounted.

Actually, scratch that, spent as much as you did part, possibly half but you still get the general idea.

I get most of my DVDs used at Blockbuster...save money that way.

I do that quite a bit too.
Unless it's something new I want, like Spidey 2, and things like that.

If you have a DVD burner...why are you paying for DVDs?

Too lazy to hunt down for all these titles on the net and then try to download gigs and gigs. Plus not all legit DVDs are ~4.7 gigs. Many are more like 7-8 gigs. Blank DVDs are about 4.7 gigs. There are supposedly dual-layer blanks that should be about 7 gigs. But I have yet to find them. :\ Basically, it's just convenience. I'm a lazy pirate.

You'd get eaten alive in the Carribean:devil:

Dual layer doesn't work perfectly I find.
Plus, it takes FOREVER to burn a full 7 gigs:p

There's a special DVD coming out on Tuesday, save up some money, it's gonna fly off the shelves. :)

If it's CINO, it should be put in the bargain bin....

But since they didn't do that for 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico' and 'Starship Troopers 2'....meh

Unless it's something new I want, like Spidey 2, and things like that. Yeah, that's why I said "most". There are some that you have to have right away (especially if I'm gong to have my son on that coming weekend)...and there are some movies that Blockbuster may not get to put out used ones, or some (like a lot of MGM releases) are already so low when they come out...but on the whole, I get mine a few weeks after release.
